Child Law at Loyola University Chicago School of law: The Civitas ChildLaw Center and the ChildLaw Fellows Program.
Each year, Loyola University Chicago School of Law selects approximately seven to ten potential law students to become ChildLaw Fellows on the basis of their academic ability, leadership potential and commitment to careers as child advocates. To support and encourage this career choice, Fellows are awarded tuition and internship support, internship experience, and, in addition to the regular law school curriculum, pursue an interdisciplinary course of study that provides the knowledge and skills needed to advocate effectively for children’s legal interests. It is the hope and expectation of the Civitas ChildLaw Center that Fellows will become leaders in the field of child advocacy. Some of these Fellows provide direct representation to child clients and others work in policy development, research and judicial administration that focus on children.

This is pretty cool. I just purchased it for $19 . . . We’ll see if this helps me prepare for law school. I heard from a friend that its good for those who haven’t been to law school but are thinking about it. . . moreso than for those who are already in a JD program.
just another one of the chapters from the DVD called “All About Law School”. I personally enjoyed most of the chapters in this DVD. A few were a bit more entertaining (comedic) than informational . . .but that was usually a welcome change in pace. I give it ‘two thumbs up.’
